An unlucky kitty
Harrow the cat didn’t have the most auspicious start in life. All that’s really understood about his early days is that his owner passed away and Harrow was left to fend for himself.
Unable to find his former owner, he wandered the streets trying to find food and getting into kitty battles.
When he was finally found and brought to safety, Harrow was an old man with numerous health issues. He had stomatitis, liver disease, his teeth were broken and he’d never been neutered.
The friendliest of moggies
The list of illnesses suggested he’d never really had the greatest care but none of this was a barrier for Harrow’s loving personality.
He started purring the second rescuers got to him and continued his love-in even during his medical examination – Harrow was just happy to be safe and warm.
And his lovely personality doesn’t just extend to humans, since he’s been in the shelter, he’s taken it upon himself to become a foster dad too.
A wise old Grand-paw
Whenever kittens are brought in, they make a beeline for the tiny old boy and he’s only too happy to accommodate.
He purrs more than ever when he’s around kittens and they nuzzle up to him, some even attempt to nurse!
Having kittens seems to have brought new meaning to Harrow’s life and it seems that this next chapter will be spent taking care of other little ones who have had tough starts in life.
You go Harrow!
