You can’t have missed the BBC correspondent being interrupted by his toddler, wife and child on live TV a few months ago – that particular video went viral but this one might just manage to better it!

A very professional meteorologist

Fox News weather forecaster Paul Dellegatto is a long-standing meteorologist for channel 13, so viewers are used to his calm tone and smart appearance. What viewers weren’t treated to until now though was his Golden Retriever dog, Brody.

The hilarious video shows Dellegatto forecasting the weather as usual until Brody decides it's time to make an appearance and shows up in shot.

A welcome appearance

Unperturbed, clearly the sign of a true professional, Dellegatto can be heard saying, “get up here” and welcoming his pooch into shot. He then calmly explains,

“The maps aren’t going to move because he whacked the computer with his head so let me verblise the forecast.” He then turns to Brody and says, “That wasn’t very smart.”

A viral video

Unsurprisingly in this modern age, the clip has gone viral with viewers across the globe logging on to see Brody “help” present the weather.

Online users have fallen in love with the clip, with many saying they wish all weather forecasts were like this.

We can’t help but agree. We love the more natural approach that experts are being forced to take with social distancing measures in place. And, if that informal approach also features a dog then you can definitely count us in!
