This grey tabby is so dog-like that you could almost mistake him for one of his adorable Shiba Inu brothers. In fact, he may even be better trained than they are!

You thought cats couldn’t be trained? Well think again. This moggy is *almost* better behaved than his Shiba Inu siblings.

Bon appétit

In a short clip posted on Instagram, the four-legged family is seen waiting patiently in front of their respective bowls. They all stare attentively up at their dad, waiting for his signal.

Suddenly, when he gives the command, all the pets (kitty included), throw themselves onto their food. They are so well trained that they refused to eat a single bite without their dad’s ok. We’d all seen it done with dogs. But with cats? We’re simply amazed.

Don't believe everything you hear

This adorable Instagram account is filled with videos and photos of the three dogs and cat living together harmoniously. They are so well-behaved in every way that they have gained over 150K loyal followers.

And they’re all breaking stereotypes! The Shibas that their breed is stubborn and untrainable and the cat that felines are independent and unintelligent. They're showing the world that all you need for efficient training is patience, consistence, and presumably, lots of tasty treats!

Wondering how these pets were so well-trained? Find out how to teach a dog to stay!
