Woman tired of GSD peeking over the fence creates a better spying alternative
Penny the German Shepherd has a very curious nature, and she’s not afraid to show it! Every day, she loves to peek into her neighbour’s yard to see what they’re up to.

But she’s not very discreet about it. She jumps up high above the fence, over and over again, just to make sure she doesn’t miss a single second of the action.
Genius solution
So Jennifer Bowman, the pup’s neighbour, decided she had to do something to make Penny’s life a little easier.
Using a small saw, she cut three holes into her wooden fence; two small ones and one bigger one.
Peephole pup
At first, Penny didn’t even notice the holes. But since they were placed at eye-height, she ended up realising that they enabled a perfect view of Jennifer’s yard! Before long, the adorable dog was placing her nose and eyes perfectly into the makeshift peephole, watching (and sniffing) her neighbours for hours on end from a very comfortable, non-exhausting position.
They say “love your neighbour”, but Jennifer definitely went above and beyond for cute four-legged friend. We’re sure Penny is very grateful!
