Like many people during the coronavirus lockdown, Jen Prior has spent a lot of time shopping online. But faced with an array of cardboard delivery boxes she decided to put them to good use – transforming the leftover boxes into special cars for her pet cat Toltex.
So far the greeting card designer has made a Jurassic Park jeep, a tank called the ‘T-Minator’ and even an ambulance for her cat to sit in.
Jen got the idea by watching pet-themed TikTok videos and watching her cat enjoying playing with the cardboard boxes.
Each feline-friendly vehicle took Jen a little time to create, but it was the Jurassic Park vehicle that took Jen the longest to craft. In a video shared online, you can see the effort that Jen went to, creating a Jurassic Park scene in her garden!
This is one way to make use of your time during lockdown! Jen Prior, a self-confessed cat lover, created this remake of a scene from Jurassic Park for her cat to star in! She built the set from cardboard and then coloured it in with felt tip pens.Posted by Your Southend on Monday, May 25, 2020
Jen and her partner Niall have plans to pimp even more rides for Toltex. He could soon be cruising around his garden in a James Bond Aston Martin or even a Batmobile. The couple are even thinking about crafting a spitfire plan for their lucky feline.
