Buddy the Golden Retriever was snapped carrying a Black Lives Matter sign in his mouth after attending a protest in Ohio, USA, with his dog-mum Sarah Emrick.
A pooch with a conscience
The pair were using their walkies time to march in solidarity with protests following the death of George Floyd.
Buddy got lots of attention at the event, with many people commenting on his sign - although there's a strong suspicion that his dog mum helped him write it out!
Thousands of people marched at the protest, and some raised concerns about bringing a dog to such a large event.
But Buddy's owner assured people that her pooch was always in his comfort zone. Sarah posted this message on social media:
"This is my dog. I know him, and I know that he could handle this."
A bark for justice
She continued:
"It was a peaceful protest, and no one was hurt. I was aware of my surroundings and was very careful to make sure neither of us got hurt. And I left before the curfew kicked in at 9. He was happy to be there."
Buddy and Sarah were marching with the Rally for Justice group. And providing the protests stay safe, the pair have vowed to continue showing their support.
