Kate Beckinsale may be known for blockbuster films like Pearl Harbour, but she’s recently become the star of the very small screen, thanks to her series of quirky Instagram videos. But the real star of the actress’ homemade films is Clive, her Persian cat.
Clive the cat
He stars with Kate in the pair’s latest video calling on people to volunteer to make clothing for the NHS. In the video, Kate herself models hospital scrubs while little Clive wears a face mask.
As the actress explains what people can do to help, Clive sits patiently by her side looking purr-fectly content wearing his own face mask before Kate takes it off him.
Kate is hoping that her video will encourage people to get behind the NHS by making much-needed scrubs.
Lockdown Instagram star
Clive has had a starring role in some of Kate’s previous lockdown videos. One shows Kate pretending to be a hairdresser with Clive as her salon customer. As the actress combs and trims his fur, she asks him about where he’s been on his holidays (around the garden) and if he saw anything nice (snails). Kate then lists the treatments on offer for the pampered puss.
