A dog owner noticed that his Golden Retriever pup would poop in the strangest positions and, after posing the question on Facebook, found out he's definitely not alone.

Will Formico is the proud owner of a gorgeous Golden Retriever. Gorgeous, that is, until it comes to potty time when he looks more than a little bit odd!
It seems that the beautiful pooch has eccentric ideas of just what the right way to poop is and regularly contorts himself into some highly unusual positions in order to do his business.
The right and the wrong way to poop
Owner, Will, took to the Dog Spotting Society on Facebook to pose the question,
“Anyone else got a dog that takes dukeys in weird positions?”
He included a selection of pics of his pup hovering against trees and squatting over bushes in the strangest positions.
And the response to his post was overwhelming, with dog owners everywhere piping up with pics of their pups engaging in strange acts in order to do their business.
It may look very strange but the truth is some dogs develop poop preferences as pups. Some prefer natural and rough surfaces and won’t go on concrete (not ideal for city dogs) while dogs that were trained on puppy pads may look for smooth surfaces to replicate those early poops!
At least it's not inside...
It’s also possible that the pooch simply gets a little stage fright and wants to wait until they find the most secluded spot before they poop.
Wherever and however they poop, as long as it’s not in the house, then we’re happy!
Take a look at the post and the multitude of responses here.
