When Marshall went missing from his Bolton home during heavy storms, his owner Samantha Spragg was beside herself with worry. Samantha thought she would never see her cat again.
But remarkably, the adventurous six-year-old moggy managed to find his way to Kent.
It’s not unusual for Marshall to disappear for a week or so. But because the weather had been so bad and he’d not been home for several weeks, Samantha became worried. She shared posts on social media and even put up posters, but no one had seen him.
So, Samantha was delighted to finally hear good news. But she didn’t expect it to come from a lady who lived on the other side of the country.
All Samantha knows is that when Marshall came across the woman and her son in Rochester, he took a liking to them and followed them home. When the lady opened her front door, he went in and headed straight upstairs, making himself at home on a bed!
It’s a mystery how Marshall made his amazing journey. But his new temporary family are giving him a safe place to stay until lockdown is over and he can return home. Samantha gets videos and photos every day, so she can keep in touch with her beloved kitty.
