Tewkesbury Park, a luxury Georgian house hotel in the Cotswolds, joined forces with the Cheltenham Animal Shelter to give three of its permanent guests a day to remember.
A dog day to remember
The lucky pooches were 1-year-old Oreo, 9-year-old Tinkerbell, and 16-year-old Kolo.
After enjoying a chauffeur service to the hotel, the pooches started their spa day with a delicious roast dinner in the Piano Lounge.
Then it was walkie time around the 164-acre grounds, followed by a buggy ride back to the hotel for a nap in the specially designed puppy suites.
Each room contains everything a dog needs for a day of luxury, including memory foam dog beds, bowls, and a few treats.
Peter Newcombe is the general manager of Cheltenham Animal Shelter. He said:
“Kolo, Tinkerbell and Oreo had a thoroughly enjoyable day...we're very grateful to Tewkesbury Park for spoiling them.”
This is just the beginning
Tewkesbury Park Hotel will now host regular puppy pamper days, sharing pics of the spa days via social media. Rescue workers hope it will help the pups find their perfect home.
The Tewkesbury is also the perfect place to take your dog for a weekend break. The luxury hotel was recently named as the Best for Furry Friends in the Conde Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2020.
