Annie the rabbit was an only child until Olaf the Golden Retriever came along as a young pup. But the little black rabbit wasn't all too enamoured with the new puppy's arrival.

So, the pair's owner, Sandra Lee, encouraged the two to get to know each other by letting Annie sniff the pup while he slept. And this seemed to work. While it took a little time, eventually Annie came around to the idea of sharing her home with Olaf. The duo soon began to spend a lot more time together and struck up a strong friendship.

Big sister

Perhaps because she's older, it seems that Annie is definitely the one in charge. In fact, despite being several times smaller than her canine sibling, Annie has shown that she has a huge influence over Olaf. Even about what he eats.

Olaf has even taken to eating lettuce like Annie. When it's time for Annie to have one of her vegetable snacks, Olaf demands his very own portion too!
