Photographer Prakash Bada is a keen wildlife photographer, and he recently made a trip to a village in Northern India to snap pics of rare birds.
The odd couple
But it was an unusual friendship between a local stray dog and a baby monkey that really caught his attention.
After seeing them cuddling up by the side of the road, the amateur photographer made some enquiries about the unlikely pairing.

Bada discovered that some of the villagers had left poison out for the monkey's mother, who was stealing food and destroying crops.
The dog, who is already carrying a litter of her own, adopted the baby after she heard it crying for help.
Since then, the pair have been practically inseparable, although this cheeky little monkey enjoys testing his new mum's patience. And that includes climbing all over her during nap time!
But hey, he's a monkey. So what else is he supposed to do?
A life lesson for everyone
Bada spent the whole day photographing the adorable pair. And he soon realised that these guys could teach us humans a few things.
Because despite their obvious differences, this dog and monkey have got nothing but love for each other.
