Owner Beckii was delighted when she brought her new Dachshund puppy home. But little did she know, there might just be a challenger to her owner crown!
An ever-lasting bond
Not long after Beckii had got her new pup, Sally, she took her round to visit her grandma and was not prepared for the immediate bond the two would share.
The two were best buddies right away and from day one Sally would excitedly run to Nan for tummy rubs, fuss and treats.
A morning ritual
First thing in the morning, the 84-year old likes to enjoy a cup of coffee and sit on her sofa watching the birds in the garden and pup Sally is just as keen. She'll sit on Nan's lap and calmly watch out of the window with her.
The pair are so close that granddaughter Beckii makes sure to take Sally around for a visit 2-3 times a week and gets a phone call from Nan every evening to see how Sally is doing.
A comforting support dog
Sally knows Nan so well that she provided a great source of comfort when her husband died, sitting with her and comforting her for hours over the incredibly hard time.
The duo have even got their own Instagram page where you can see the bond that the tiny dog has with her owner's grandma.
We wish them all the very best and hope they continue to bring each other joy for years to come.
