Che-Che was brought to Monmouth County SPCA in the hopes that she could quickly be rehomed.
Loving carers to the rescue
At first, she was shaking – visibly terrified. And no wonder: she had just lost the people she loved most in the world, and now she was finding herself in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by strangers.
Luckily, carers knew exactly what she needed: a little TLC! With lots of cuddles and attention, Che-Che began to relax. She received a dental, a spay, a vaccine update, and a lovely bubble bath, after which carers were free to pet her without the need for protective gloves.
In search of a new home
Since Monmouth County SPCA posted about Che-Che, they have received hundreds of adoption applications. They are, however, only considering homes with no other pets or children – as they want Che-Che to feel as comfortable and spoiled as possible in her new forever family!
Che-Che’s carers promise they will honour her family by finding their beloved dog the perfect home. Good luck, Che-Che!
