The Coronavirus lockdown has forced families to spend every day together, whether they like it or not.
A three-month-old Corgi called Lucy and a three-year-old Ragdoll cat called Gilbert found themselves in such a situation in Chicago, Illinois.
When Lucy was adopted during lockdown, she came to live with Gilbert’s family. Gilbert had previously lived with a dog so was quite experienced with crazy canine antics. When the pup first arrived, Gilbert kept a close eye on her, checking out his potential new playmate.
But it didn't take long before the pair become best friends, and they have been playing together ever since.
Their owner Adam has kept a video record of his pet's blossoming friendship and the odd shenanigans they get up to.
In most clips, you can see that Gilbert must have an incredible amount of patience as he has to put up with the excitable and energetic puppy chasing him around the house and climbing all over him. In fact, one clip shows Lucy dragging Gilbert around by his tail. But it doesn’t look like the cat minds at all.
Which is a good job as the furry siblings are spending every day together!
