Indeed, the Royal Family tweeted private footage of The Queen as Princess Elizabeth with her family, including her younger sister, Princess Margaret.
A family gone to the dogs
In one part of the video, Elizabeth can be seen surrounded by a large group of dogs; mostly Labradors and Spaniels, which were favourites of her father. Her love of pooches clearly started at a very young age!

Corgi Kingdom
Her Majesty is well known for her love of Corgis. Indeed, she has owned over 30 of them during her reign. She received her first one, Susan, as an 18th birthday gift.
It may seem to her a lifetime ago, yet, her love of dogs has still not died away. Although she no longer owns or breeds purebred Corgis (from an ethical standpoint), she does own two Dachshund – Corgis, or Dorgis, named Candy and Vulcan.
We are sure she has spent this special day with them by her side, just like she did her 18th with Susan.
Happiest of Birthdays, Your Majesty!
