For many of us in lockdown, our daily dog walks are the highlight of the day. This dog owner has found a way to make walks even more interesting and the results are hilarious.

Have you taken to wearing a mask and gloves when you walk the dog? Well, this dog owner has ramped things up even further and has taken to wearing elaborate costumes for her quarantine dog walks.
Clare Meardon from West Cornwall runs a dance school and has a house full of costumes, costumes that she's putting to great use, much to the embarrassment of her beloved Labrador, Hendrix.
A dare accepted
Back in early April, Clare sent a pic of herself in costume to a pal who “dared” her to take Hendrix for a walk in it. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Ms Meardon did exactly that, much to the delight of her neighbours and online followers.
Her costume wearing has now become a daily practice and she uploads pics and vids to her Facebook page to cheer up her followers.
A superhero effort
Recent costumes include a masked superhero, a unicorn and a ballerina. We can’t wait to see what's next.
We're not entirely sure what Hendrix makes of all this but his sheepish facial expression makes us think he must be terribly embarrassed. He even stole Clare's phone at one point and sent out a hilarious plea on Instagram asking for help and a bottle of wine!
These are strange times indeed but if you can make other people smile as you get through it then we're in favour. Well done Clare and good luck Hendrix!
