Freja has been described by her rescuers as an affectionate and social girl who loves to be around people.
Freja's ideal environment
This girl would love a home in the countryside, particularly if it's close to a wooded area, where she loves to take walks! Because she is so attention-seeking, she would prefer to be the only pet in the house, though she may do alright with a well-behaved and placid dog.
Caring for Freja
At around 8 years old, Freja is a middle-aged dog who may have another 5 or so years ahead of her. She has a stretched ligament in her left forelimb which doesn’t pose too many problems, however very long walks and rough play with other dogs should be avoided in order to prevent limping.
Freja is already housetrained and a pro at recall! The only area of training which will require some patience from her new owner is separation, as she loves to be with her people!
Freja's beautiful soul
This adorable pup would do very well with an active couple or family who enjoy country walks. All she wants is to be showered with love and attention!
