The reason for their visit was that their dog was supposedly acting strange.
In desperate need of help
At first glance, nothing seemed to be wrong with the pooch, but something was definitely not right with Jeremy's girlfriend. She had a swollen eye, and several bruises and cuts all over her body.
While the couple start to wait for a vet to come speak with them, the girlfriend tells Jeremy she is ‘going to the bathroom’. CCTV then shows her approaching the front desk of the clinic and handing a small note to the vet techs. The note said:
Without hesitation, the vet techs immediately called the police, who arrived shortly after. They proceeded to disarm Jeremy, and since he already had a criminal record, he was arrested on the spot. As for his girlfriend, she was quickly taken to a hospital where she was diagnosed with concussion.
The dog saved the day
After further investigation, it was discovered that she had been kept hostage at gunpoint by her violent boyfriend for two days, until she was finally able to convince him that they had to bring their dog to the vet.
Without the dog, Jeremy's girlfriend wouldn't have had the perfect excuse to leave the house! That's a hero pooch!
