With families told to stay home during the Coronavirus outbreak, dogs everywhere are thrilled to have the chance at more quality time with their humans. But for one little Dachshund who can sometimes experience separation anxiety, he simply couldn't hide his excitement at his family being in lockdown.
The tale of Rolo's tail
Rolo, a seven-year-old sausage dog was so thrilled to have his family home with him all day every day, all his excited tail wagging caused him to strain his poor tail.

With his human family home, little Rolo wanted to play constantly, wagging his tail excitedly. But then his owner Emma noticed one day that his tail wasn't moving and down between his legs.
Emma quickly took Rolo to the vet who diagnosed Rolo with a strained tail as a result of wagging it too hard.
Didn’t expect this happen😂, for those asking, he is currently on pain relief and the vet said he should be healed within a week, this is him on the 2nd day. He is super happy and there is now movement from side to side but he is struggling to lift it up in the air. pic.twitter.com/dY0o96HOpj

Happy sausage
The poor pup had managed to strain the tendons and ligaments between his tail and spine. The vet gave him an anti-inflammatory injection and prescribed painkillers.
But it seems that Rolo is bouncing back. While he can't lift his tail just yet, he can wag it from side to side.
Thanks for everyone’s concern, im sure he will be back wagging like this in no time 😊 pic.twitter.com/xyt3qR9KjI
