You'd think being abandoned by owners would cause many pups to act out, but this Staffordshire Bull Terrier is not holding grudges, and she couldn't be any better behaved.

Frightened but friendly
Cold, alone and tied to a metal fence outside a shelter, little Misty must have been very upset and confused but her confusion didn't cause her to bark or pull, instead she waited patiently to be rescued.
When staff members arrived into work at the RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre, they were shocked to see a gorgeous blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier tied to the front gate.
They had no idea how long she'd been there for only that she was delighted to see them and even more delighted to be set free. She waited patiently with her head between the bars while the workers freed her.
Workers noticed that she was very thin, had a skin condition and cuts on her nose which led them to think she hadn't been very well taken care of. They noticed she was microchipped but when they got in touch with the owners, were told she'd been rehomed years earlier.
All in all, little Misty needed lots and lots of love and attention. She's currently relaxing and recuperating at the shelter and when she's ready will be put up for adoption where we hope she'll never have to worry about being abandoned again.
The RSPCA spoke to The Dodo website and confirmed that abandoning a pup, even if it's right outside a shelter, is never the answer.
We wish Misty all the very best.
