Devoted dog owner builds a luxury house under the stairs for her Pomeranian
A dog owner from Essex has given new meaning to the phrase ‘in the dog house’ after building an incredible puppy pad under the stairs for her pup for £60.

When she first moved into the house it was just a standard under the stairs cupboard. But Georgina Beetlestone had big things in mind for the small space.

With a little bit of creativity, help from a friend and a budget of £60, Georgina transformed the gloomy cupboard into a luxury room for her beloved Pomeranian pup, Minnie.

The lucky 9-month-old pampered pooch now has her very own bedroom, complete with doggy wallpaper, a bed and framed photos of her canine parents.

It’s always been a dream of Georgina's to make a doggy boudoir but has never had space before. So, when she moved into her current home, she immediately saw the potential for making a dog den.

Georgina got a friend to cut a hole for her and then she put up some doggy themed wallpaper and tiles on the floor. She also added an LED light to make it a bright and welcoming space for Minnie.

To add an extra special touch, Georgina contacted Minnie’s breeder for a photo of the pup's parents which is now in a frame and hung on the wall.
