Crufts is famous for parading some of the best-bred dogs in the world. It's also an opportunity to watch these furry athletes show off their stuff in agility runs and obedience trials.
A star is born
But every year there's one dog that captures our hearts for very different reasons. This year that was Kratu, and he stole more than just the show.
Seconds into Kratu's agility routine, the audience knew they were in for a treat. The rescue pup quickly decided he was doing his own thing, which included a few games of peek-a-boo in the tunnel.
He finished his routine by 'stealing' a pole from one of the hurdles and running off with it!
As you can imagine, Kratu's unusual run didn't win many points from the judges. But he still left the arena to cheers and a huge round of applause.
The people's champion
Over 25,000 dogs took part in Crufts 2020, with best in show going to a Wire-haired Dachshund called Maisie. Other big winners included Elsie the Irish Terrier (she received the gundog award) and Zokni, an Old English Sheepdog named winner of the pastoral category. Pablo the Bichon Frise won the Toy category.
