Zeus the English Mastiff proves that speed and coming first isn't everything when it comes to being a winner.
Slow and steady
You will be more used to seeing agile and sprightly dogs zipping through an agility course. But Zeus was determined to complete the entire course, even if he did clock the slowest time on record. The huge dog tackled each obstacle in the same way, calm and steady as his owner encouraged him around the course. Despite his size, Zeus squeezed into the tunnels and incredibly, only knocked over one pole.
As he manoeuvred his way around the course, he looked as if he was enjoying himself, with his tail constantly wagging.
He may have set the record for the slowest time around the course, but his steady pace, determination and pure enjoyment, has won this gentle giant an array of fans.
A YouTube video of Zeus's efforts has reached almost 4million views, showing that while he may not be an agility course winner, he's certainly a winner in everyone's eyes.
