Meet Brutus
Brutus the Bullmastiff may be a big strong dog, but he’s also very loving and sweet.
When his owner Bonnie Michalek discovered she was pregnant, she knew that he would adjust well to someone new joining the family pack. And Brutus didn't disappoint her. When it came to introducing newborn Kayden to his big brother, Bonnie couldn't have been more delighted.
Love at first sight
The moment Brutus spotted little Kayden, he went straight over to give the new human puppy lots of kisses and snuggles. And that was the start of a wonderful relationship. From that moment Brutus was devoted to Kayden. Whenever little Kayden cried, Brutus was there to provide comfort and reassurance.
Sharing toys
In fact, Brutus was so keen to make his new sibling happy, that he even shared his favourite toy with him. Brutus has had his big and yellow fluffy ball since he was a tiny pup and has always treated it as being extra special.
Whenever Kayden cried, Brutus would give him his special yellow ball.
But while Kayden may no longer be a little baby, it hasn't changed his bond with big Brutus. In fact, the two brothers are closer than ever.
