If you are thinking of brushing up on your sledging skills this year, then you might want to take some notes from an expert like Knox the Belgian Shepherd.

We know dogs are clever animals that can be trained to do pretty much anything. The internet is bursting with videos of dogs on surfboards and skateboards but could this be one of the first videos of a dog on a sledge?
While it might be the Siberian Husky who is more often associated with being traditionally used as sledge dogs, Knox is a Belgian Shepherd who could show them a thing or two.
A video posted by a dog training company in Iowa, USA, shows Knox taking to the snow with ease as he expertly slides down on his sledge. Once he gets to the bottom of the slope, he simply jumps off and picks up the sledge and races back up to the top of the hill to begin again.
The clever pup looks like he’s really enjoying himself as he wags his tail while he slides down the snowy hill.
It’s not clear how many times Knox went up and down the hill, but he looks perfectly comfortable as a sledge dog, don't you think?
