His latest act shows that he’s a star both on the field and off.

Nnadi is a huge dog lover. He has two dogs of his own and chose to team up with the KC Pet Project charity in September last year.

Since then, with every single Chiefs victory, Nnadi has generously covered the fees for one dog to be adopted.

After the Kansas City Chiefs stole victory in a stunning game on Sunday night, Nnadi has donated the fees that will mean every single dog in the shelter will have their adoption fees covered.

The KC Pet Project announced the lovely news via Facebook and fans of Nnadi now love him even more.

CBS News reported, “Thanks to his incredible support following this win, more than 100 available dogs in our care will have their adoption fees sponsored starting today.”

A generous dog lover

The generous act will mean that money won’t be a barrier for less well off families who are desperate to bring a dog in to their homes.

Well done Derrick, we think you’re an absolute superhero.
