Simba was rescued as a stray, and has been waiting for adoption ever since. He has incredibly unique and fascinating eyes – it's a surprise he's still looking for a home.

Rescued in April 2018, Simba the German Shepherd would be anyone's dream dog. He's comical, he's intelligent, he's curious, and…did we mention he's a GSD?

A handsome heterochromic pooch

But there is something that makes Simba stand out from all the other German Shepherds out there. Simba has a condition known as heterochromia. This means his eyes are different colours! Indeed, Simba's right eye is brown, while his left eye is bright blue!

From stray…to pet?

Sadly, Simba is just about as handsome as he is unlucky in life: he was found half-starved on the streets of Spain. After being rescued by the Galgo Hilfe organisation, he struggled to find a home. He spent over a year in a shelter before a family finally decided to adopt him.

Simba will need an active home who has experience with large and highly intelligent breeds. If you are in the Ratingen, Germany area, and think Simba could be the one for you, why not give Galgo Hilfe a call?
