When a woman brought home a tiny stray kitten, she could never have predicted what would happen when she introduced him to her resident rescue dog.

Sharra Platt was driving when she noticed a woman and her daughter looking anxiously at a kitten near a busy road in Los Angeles.
"They said they had been looking around for a mama cat or any other kittens and couldn't find anything,” Sharra told Love Meow.
Kind-hearted Sharra decided she would take the little tabby kitten home.
“Leaving her would mean almost certain death as she was just a few feet from a very busy road and she is tiny. There was no way I was leaving her there!"
Crenshaw, The Gangsta Kitty
Sharra named the kitten Crenshaw, The Gangsta Kitty, after the road where she was found and the type of neighbourhood it is.
She kept the kitten in a carrier to start with so none of the animals felt threatened.
When she began to introduce her dogs to the new arrival, it was Roxy who was the first to say hello.
Love at first sight
Roxy instantly fell in love with the little kitten.
From that moment onwards, Roxy keeps a close eye on Crenshaw, washes her and gives her lots of cuddles. Just like any good dog mum.
The unlikely mother and daughter duo are inseparable.
While Roxy takes on the mum role, Kasey the Pomeranian loves to rub heads and cuddle with Crenshaw. Even Lucky the cat is slowly accepting his new feline sibling.
