Salvador the black and white Domestic Shorthair is waiting for the purr-fect family to come along and take him home at Battersea's London location.

It's not hard to see why this adorable kitty was named Salvador. His charming moustache gives him somewhat of a distinguished look, and reminds us of the singular Spanish artist.
Salvador's ideal environment
Salvador is currently dreaming of a house with a little garden to call his own, where he will be able to explore and play to his heart's content.
He prefers human company to cats' company, and so would prefer to live in an area where he won't have to share his territory or surrounding areas with any other felines.
He would also prefer a dog-less home, but will get along with older children who can be calm around him.
Caring for Salvador
At 9 years of age, Salvador is on the older side, but may still have many years ahead of him.
He will shed heavily, as all cats do, but grooming his short coat will be a breeze.
What makes Salvador so special?
Do we even have to say it? I mean look at that 'stache!
Looks aside though, Salvador would make the perfect companion for someone who wants all the best bits of owning a cat: playing together with a piece of string, laughing at his obsession with boxes, and relishing in head bumps and loud purrs.
