Pickle is a beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier located at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Windsor location. Her resolution for the new year? Get adopted!
Pickle's ideal environment
Pickle is a dog who LOVES people and wants to be their centre of attention. Because of this, she would prefer to be the only child in the house (human or animal), and find paw-rents that are home most of the time.
She would prefer to live in a home away from the inner city.
Caring for Pickle
At 9 years and 5 months of age, Pickle is getting into her golden years, but that doesn't mean she's any less fun and playful!
Her upkeep should be pretty easy too – heavy shedding should only occur once a year, and with that short coat, Pickle will be a wash and wear type of dog!
Training Pickle
Pickle is an intelligent gal and already knows some basic commands such as ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘leave’, ‘paw’, ‘high five’, and ‘bed’.
The area in which Pickle is going to need some support is separation. Indeed, Pickle has a past of over-bonding to her owners, so she doesn't like to be left alone. Battersea is therefore looking for owners that will be home most of the time, so Pickle doesn't suffer from her separation anxiety.
What makes Pickle special?
The best thing about Pickle is – well – that she's a Staffie! So that means: she's happy, she's friendly, she's spirited, and she LOVES cuddles.
She is looking for a home that will play with her and her soft toys all day and appreciate her fun and engaging character – perhaps people who have already owned a Staffie?
