Bindi announced her engagement to Chandler Powell earlier this year, and now the loved-up pair have added a third member to their little family.

A furry new arrival

Powell shared pics of theCavalier King Charles via Instagram, and it's fair to say that 'Piggy' was a big hit with his new fans.

Powell captioned the post with a heartfelt message for his fiance and new fur-baby:

"Welcoming our newest and cutest family member," wrote Powell. "Introducing Piggy, our gorgeous puppy. Can't wait to begin the new decade giving this sweetheart the happiest and most loving home. 2020 here we come!"

Irwin replied:

"Here's to the next incredible life chapter. So much love and light."

The couple met six years ago after Powell visited Australia Zoo, where members of the Irwin family carry on their late father's work.

Steve Irwin passed away in 2006 following a deadly encounter with a poisonous jellyfish. Also known as the Crocodile Hunter, the TV personality and environmentalist dedicated his life to animal welfare.

And Bindi Irwin is definitely a chip off the old block!

Bindi, along with the rest of the Irwins, is helping provide round the clock care for animals affected by the devasting bushfires raging across Australia.

The family's Queensland-based wildlife hospital is taking in animals from all over the country and recently treated its 90,000th patient!

Bob Irwin posted a picture of the platypus named 'Ollie,' along with the following message:

"Over the last 16 years, the hospital has provided 24/7 wildlife rehabilitation and an incredible animal rescue service. We're so proud of this world-class facility."

Well done, guys! You've done your father proud. And it looks like little Piggy is in the best possible hands!
