Life can be tough if you're a dog lover living in rented accommodation, but this Scotsman found the perfect workaround to his landlord's “no pets” rule.

One of the best things about owning a home is filling it with four-legged friends but if you're living in rented accommodation, this might not be an option for you. And, that's exactly the case for Jack McCrossnan.
A flat full of dog lovers
Jack and his three flatmates had all grown up with dogs and were desperate for one of their own but first needed to find a way around their landlord's strict no pets policy.
They'd spotted their neighbour's pooch looking put of the window and decided there might be a way to get their doggy fix, after all.
“The other day, we noticed a four-legged friend looking at us out the window when we arrived home from work. He or She looked like the good-est boy/girl there is… We hope this doesn't come too strong, but our landlord won't allow pets, and we've all grown up with animals.”
Been saying we’d love a dog about the house but our landlord doesn’t allow pets, so my housemate posted a letter to our neighbours asking if we could walk their dog every once and a while and the response was better than we could have ever hoped for pic.twitter.com/dcMOfPk5UH— Jack McCrossan (@Jack_McCrossan) December 10, 2019
A pawsitive reply
The boys were hoping for a positive reply from the owner but were delighted to hear from the dog herself who explained that she was a Sheprador (Labrador x German Shepherd) and had been rescued by her owners from Cyprus.
She ended her letter with a nod to her servant,
"I'd love to hang out whenever you fancy. Give my servant Chris a Whatsapp and we can arrange a meet up."
The tail had a pawfect end and the boys from number 23 recently shared a pic of themselves with the gorgeous pooch much to the delight of their Twitter followers, many of whom have claimed they want to move to the neighbourhood, too!
It just goes to show that dog lovers are some of the best people in the world!
