Police officers in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France, are very proud of their Malinois, who made an incredible find at a train station just a month ago.

Police officers were walking around the train station to make sure everything was in order. So when they spotted a man with a stroller on the platform, they didn't really think anything of it. After all, dads take the train with their kids all the time!
But nothing gets past their super smart Malinois, who came to a sudden halt in front of said stroller.
The officers immediately knew something was amiss. With lots of precaution, they approached the stroller and took a look inside. And when they realised its contents – they remained speechless.
There was no child inside, but it definitely wasn't empty either! Sitting right there in front of them was a large package of cannabis!
The drugs were immediately seized and the owner of the stroller taken to jail.
To demonstrate just how proud they were of their hard-working pooch, the police officers didn't hesitate to post a message on social media:
[#Insolite] Hier, à la gare de #SaintQuentinEnYvelines, un chien de la brigade des stupéfiants marque sur une poussette. Surprise! Le bébé est en réalité une plaquette de résine de cannabis. ➡️ G.A.V. pour le papa! pic.twitter.com/OqElqTAGge— Police Nationale 78 (@PoliceNat78) November 15, 2019
A bit on the nose
A dog's sense of smell is almost 50 times more sensitive than a human's. That's why our canine pals can be such a great help in all sorts of police work, including tracking down criminals, drugs, weapons, and bombs. They are trained through positive reinforcement to recognise certain smells – even when there are dozens of other smells around!
The most common breeds you'll see on a police force are German Shepherds and Malinois dogs, just because they are so intelligent and easy to train!
