Can you give Mimi the senior kitty a loving forever home?
If you're thinking of getting a pet, why not adopt? There are thousands of animals in shelters – all of them hoping they can spend the rest of the winter in the warmth of a home.

This week, we're introducing you to Mimi, a beautiful 10-year-old black moggy. The petite kitty, available for adoption at Battersea's London centre, only wants one thing from her owners: love, and lots of it!
Mimi's ideal environment
Mimi is getting into her Golden years (though don't be fooled, some cats can live well into their 20's!), so she is looking for a stable home. That means no moves on the horizon. One home will be more than enough to please this little lady. Mimi also hopes her new home will have a garden, because she does like to stretch her legs every now and then.
With her advancing age, Mimi is set in her ways. She would prefer to be the only pet in the house – mostly so she can take over all humans' attention.
Taking care of Mimi
Adopters should be aware that though Mimi is considered senior, she may still have up to 15 years ahead of her. So consider the long-term responsibility!
And don't forget all cats shed and need regular grooming, though being short-haired, Mimi's needs will be minimal.
Mimi's sweet and lovable personality
Mimi is well known at Battersea for being a great big love-bug. Super affectionate, her ‘move’ is high-fiving her foster carers to demand more attention from them.
So essentially, if you're looking for a cat who's going to want to be stroked and loved on all day – Mimi might just be the one!
