A cinematic masterpiece
Chances are you've seen a trailer for the festive season's biggest blockbuster, “Cats” by now.
Directed by Tom Hooper (he of The King's Speech and Les Mis fame), this massive movie features an all-star cast. You can expect to see Dame Judi Dench, James Cordon, Idris Elba and Taylor Swift in action in what has been one of the most successful stage musicals of all time.
And, what's more, your dog can come with you.
The story tells the trials and tribulations of a group of feline friends, but don't worry, your canine pal needn't miss out!
The Picture House cinemas have arranged special dog-friendly screenings at cinemas in Bath and London. The screenings will have water bowls for thirsty pooches and comfy fleece blankets on hand in case your pooch fancies a nap mid-film. Cinema going is exhausting work, after all!
A picture House employee said,
"We will leave lighting levels a little higher than usual during the screening and lower the volume of the soundtrack."
The screenings will take place on Sunday 22nd December at 10.30am and tickets range in price from £7.90 to £14. As with anything dog-related, we'd highly recommend snapping your ticket up quick as they're likely to sell out.
This might seem like an unusual offering from the Picture House cinemas as cats and dogs are traditionally thought of as enemies but, it's Christmas, what better time to bring both sets of furry friends together?
