What were you doing in January 2018? It was so long ago, do you even remember? Well, that’s when Lady was dropped off at the RSPCA by her previous owner.

And that’s where she still was up until a few days ago. This beautiful Domestic Shorthair crossbreed had the hardest time finding herself a home! Shelter staff were beginning to wonder if anyone would ever pick her…

Why not her?

Frankly, we don’t understand why it took her so long! Her eyes are a beautiful, bright yellow, her coat is pitch black with just a small patch of white on the chest and feet. Even more adorable, her long whiskers are all white too!

She was described by shelter staff as being sweet, affectionate, and playful. But still, no-one wanted her.

All she wanted for Christmas was to find a home

Staff at RSPCA Suffolk East and Ipswich were beginning to worry that Lady would be spending her second Christmas in the shelter.

But luckily, just about 2 weeks ago, a purr-fect adopter walked through the door, and finally took her home!

RSPCA staff will certainly miss Lady’s cheeky personality which always kept them entertained, but they are so relieved to know that she has finally landed in her forever home.

Lady has left the building ? Our little Lady was the longest stay cat in our cattery and we were beginning to wonder...

No animal deserves to be in a shelter for as long as Lady was. It’s not a good life. We are so thrilled that it’s all in her past now, and hope she never EVER returns!

Happy trails sweet girl!
