Maine Coons are the biggest domestic cat and have become one of the most popular breeds. But while they may grow up to be as big as 40 inches in length, with huge paws and a thick multi-layered fluffy coat, they are well known to be gentle giants.
However, it’s not just their size and thick fluffy coat that makes these majestic felines so unique.
They have also become known for their rather distinctive facial features. As bizarre as it may sound, some Maine Coons have even been found to have faces that look like humans.
Grumpy old men
But photos shared online by a Maine Coon cattery in Russia reveal that one recent litter of Maine Coon kittens don’t just look like humans, they look like little grumpy old men!
Catsvill County is home to a litter of 5 extremely cute and fluffy grey Maine Coon kittens. Not long after they were born, people noticed that there was something very different about them. Each kitten had a grumpy expression.
All the kittens look exactly alike and with each sharing the same grumpy appearance, it’s almost impossible to tell them apart.
Despite their seriously grumpy looks, they still all look very cute.
On the cattery’s Facebook page you can see photos of an array of beautiful Maine Coons they have in their care, along with an adorable video of one of the Maine Coon ‘grumpy’ kittens squeaking to the camera.

The same cattery went viral last year following photos shared of a Maine Coon kitten called Valkyrie whose face just looked like a human’s. The internet was alight with photos of little Valkyrie and people were shocked at just how much the kitten’s face looked like a human face.
