A high-flying couple from London is looking for one lucky pup lover to keep a watchful eye on their beloved pooches as they jet-set around the globe.
A dream job for dog lovers
The job, which was recently advertised by Silver Swan Recruitment, will pay over £30,000 a year and offers free accommodation in a luxurious townhouse located in Kensington, one of London's most exclusive districts where the average house price is just under £2million!
It's a Monday to Friday role with occasional weekend work, and the lucky applicant will be responsible for taking care of two Golden Retrievers named Milo and Oscar.
The job spec includes morning and evening walkies, managing any appointments, and liaising with the weekend dog walker.
To be in with a shot, applicants require a passion for pooches and previous experience handling pets. The unnamed couple is also looking for someone who is 'fit and active' and 'hard-working and trustworthy'.
But there is a slight catch. The role does require some housekeeping and maintenance duties, including welcoming guests, taking calls, laundry, and cooking light evening meals.
Then again, that seems like a small sacrifice to make for getting paid to hang out with pooches!
Dog sitting is a massive industry in the UK. Increased working hours and more dual-income households mean many people are always looking for an extra pair of paws to help take care of their pets.
Lending a helping paw
Services include dog walking, feeding, or just spending a few hours with a pooch to stop them feeling lonely. Dog sitters in London earn around £21,000 a year, which means there will be a real scramble for this latest role.
