A new festive tradition
We’re officially approaching the festive season so it’s time to start thinking about those special events. Here at Wamiz, we can think of few things more worthy of becoming a new cosy tradition than the annual Battersea Christmas Carol Concert.
As well as heart-warming carols, tasty mince pies and spicy mulled wine, this carol concert will also have dogs, plenty of dogs! It’s quickly becoming a stand out event in the capital’s calendar thanks to the canine guard of honour which welcomes carollers to church. The pooches stay throughout the concert, too.
The concert features an array of festive songs including “We Woof you a Merry Christmas” and “Away in a Mongrel” and is designed to raise awareness of the charity and showcase some of the dogs who are in need of a loving home.
Visitors are asked to leave their own furry friends at home, alas, but we’re hoping that there are so many dogs, we’ll be just fine.
The carol concert takes place at St. Luke’s church in Chelsea on Thursday 5th and Friday 13th December and tickets are on sale between £20-£30. All proceeds go to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home charity so it’s money well spent.
If you’re interested then we’d advising snapping your tickets up very soon, this concert ALWAYS sells out and we can see why.
