Have you ever had to go through the terrible experience of losing a pet? Was it difficult to get over your grief? Or perhaps you never truly got over it? We understand. In fact, hundreds of thousands of people understand. As pet owners, losing an animal is one of the hardest things we have to go through…and it never gets easier.
Grieving for a pet is not old news
Media has been talking more and more about the effect a pet’s death can have on us. Research has shown that it can be as painful as losing a human loved one. Recent stories have also sparked outrage in the animal-loving community due to society’s lack of understanding on the subject. For instance, a recent news covered the case of a woman who was fired from her job because she took a day off to grieve the passing of her dog.
We need to talk about it
That’s why Wamiz is launching this survey. We want to spread awareness.
We are interested in knowing your story, your experience with losing a beloved pet. We want to know how people’s lives have changed following a pet’s passing, how they coped, and how they feel about society’s view on the matter. By answering just a few of our questions, you could be a great help to us in better understanding the phenomenon that is the grieving of pets!
The survey should only take a couple minutes of your time. All answers will remain anonymous.
Thank you for taking the time to help us!
