We all know that puppies grow fast – but this dog’s case was something else entirely! From wee baby to enormous ‘hulk’, this pooch hit his growth spurt hard!

When Yumna Saloojee adopted Tydus, an adorable Alaskan Malamute puppy, he was just a tiny little furball. But, like all babies, he started growing fast.
But what made Tydus different from other puppies is that he just kept growing, and growing, and growing…until he was literally gigantic.
Extra Large Pupper
At 2 and a half years old, Tydus already weighed 54 kilos (119 lbs). Understandably, it’s now impossible for Yumna and her pooch to go unseen during a walk. Not only is he absolutely HUGE, but he is also magnificent. With long, flowing ginger fur, he is as good-looking as he is large.
“When we go out for a walk, everyone stops us to ask us questions about Tydus: his breed, his weight, his age…”
Tydus the Big Friendly Giant
But there’s no need to be intimidated by Tydus’ size, he’s just a big affectionate ball of love! The gentle giant loves nothing more than to be cuddled, to nap alongside his favourite humans, and to play like the giant goofball he is! Plus, Tydus is incredibly photogenic and he knows it – he is a boss at posing for the camera.
“He’s just a big, cuddly teddy bear,” says Yumna.
Basically, this big dog is as adoring as he is fluffy! But one thing’s for sure, Yumna Saloojee could’ve never imagined that he would get this big when she first adopted him as a tiny pup!
