Is it French, Spanish, or Italian? None of them! The language 2-year-old Everlee and her dog Dude share is much more complex and wonderful than that!

Love knows no barriers – including those of language! That is certainly the case for Everlee and Dude. After all, when you can’t speak your best friend’s language, it makes sense to make up your own, right?
A special friendship
Everlee is a 2-year-old toddler who has a very special best friend named Dude. Since meeting the lovable Husky, she has become completely inseparable from him.
Despite their difference in size (and species!), they love to hang out together. The two share an incredible bond, which is clearly seen with the way they interact.
Learning from the best
Huskies are quite vocal dogs. Closely related to the wolf, they like to howl and howl – for pretty much anything! They’ll howl when they’re happy, when they’re frustrated, when they’re excited, when they’re anxious…basically, a howl is to a Husky as a voice is to a human.
Their high-pitched vocalisations may annoy next-door neighbours, but in this family’s case, Dude’s howl has been a real lifesaver.
Indeed, Everlee suffers from epilepsy, which causes delays in speech development. But thanks to her best friend Dude, she is gaining confidence, and learning to modulate sounds by vocalising along with him.
And though they don’t make much sense to us, it seems they’ve got a lot to talk about together! We wish them a lifetime of long, heartfelt conversations!
