A man who rescued a stray dog realised he'd found a friend for life after the exhausted pooch fell asleep in his arms. He had no other choice but to adopt the little stray!

It was another scorching day in Abu Dhabi when Anand Raman decided to visit his sister at work.
That dog needs help!
But as he walked through the car park outside her offices, he noticed a desperate-looking dog huddled up in the shade. Anand said:
"He was under a car eating scraps some of her workers had left for him. His fur was matted, and his legs weren't quite right."
The poor pooch noticed the man watching him and must have sensed Anand's kind and gentle heart.
"He approached me with a curious but excited disposition, wagging his tail excitedly," said Anand. "This demeanour of his is what initially made me fall in love with him."
Anand scooped up the pup and carried him into the air-conditioned comfort of his car.
Knowing he was safe at last, the exhausted pooch fell asleep in his best friend's arms, even using his shoulder as a comfy pillow!
Anand took the stray to a vet, who quickly discovered the cause of the pups wobbly walk. Due to a long period of malnourishment, the sick dog had developed rickets.
Thankfully the condition was still in its early stage, and there were no signs of permanent damage.
But there was another surprise in store for Anand when he took the dog home for a much-needed bath.
"I was surprised to find out that his fur was actually pure white after all the dirt and grime came off his body," said Anand.
I was overwhelmed with the reaction caused by Snowy's initial rescue story. THANK YOU to everyone for the well wishes and its very sweet that my story touched all of you. I couldnt have done any of this without my sister @shrutii89 and my brother-in-law @rohancardoz who are Snowys primary parents and caregivers. A big thank thank you to @lilyfeinn at the Dodo @thedodo for the awesome article. In the beginning it was hard to rehabilitate him into a domesticated life, he was scared of everything initially but hes got it good now ? Now the best is yet to come for him ?
'Snowy' finds his first real home
That took care of his furry friend's new name, and 'Snowy' is now loving life in his first real home.
"He sleeps and waits for us to get home from work, which is when he showers us with love and we reciprocate the same with him," Anand said.
And, of course, he still enjoys a snuggle with his favourite human.
Meet Snowy ? A stray abandoned on the streets, we found him under a car and he was so dirty i thought his fur color was actually black, but after a shower found out hes the complete opposite. In this first pic it was his car ride home he was so exhausted from the streets he couldnt stay awake. Hes now got a fam that loves him. Hes curious, a great guard dog, smart and a little too energetic ?
