An 11-year dog trainer named Alexa Lauenburger wowed Britain's Got Talent viewers with an incredible routine which included the show's first-ever puppy conga line!
By, 10 Sep 2019
The routine begins with the 8 doggies showing off their dancing skills, followed by some jaw-dropping acrobatic routines.
The greatest moment in TV history?
The performing pups weave in and out of Alexa's leg, roll over on command, leap through hoops, and pull off some gravity-defying backflips!
Then, in what must surely go down as one of the most amazing moments in TV history, the dogs form an orderly line and start doing the congo!
The dancing pup troupe sent the live studio audience into raptures, with many visibly shocked by what some people are calling the greatest show on earth!
The judges were pretty impressed too! Head judge and show creator Simon Cowell said:
"This is the best dog act I have ever, ever seen. And the fact that you, and I don’t mean this in a patronising way, but you at your age to have that relationship with these gorgeous dogs. This is amazing, congratulations."
Presenters Ant and Dec were so impressed they decided to hit the golden buzzer, sending Alexa Lauenburger and her furry gang through to the live finals.
Reflecting on the performance, Ant said: "That was by far one of the best dog acts we’ve ever had on Britain’s Got Talent that I’ve seen."
Champion of champions
Alexa began training dogs from the age of 7 and won the German version of the show in 2017. The new series brings together former winners to battle it out to become the ultimate champion's champion.
Alexa will join Kseniya Simonova and dance group The MerseyGirls in the grand finale.
Best of luck to all the finalists, but we know who we'll be backing to lift the coveted trophy! Go team Alexa!
