World’s biggest cat is looking for a "furever" home

The Morris Animal Refuge shelter in Philadelphia, placed a special appeal online searching for a new home for BeeJay, otherwise known as “Mr. B.” or “Big Boi” as the staff have named him.
Enormous cat given up for adoption
BeeJay was handed into the Morris Animal Refuge by his family, who surrendered him due to personal reasons. The jumbo-sized tabby cat is around 2 years old and is very friendly and affectionate.
Online appeal breaks the internet
Morris Animal Refuge made a Twitter appeal online last week hoping to find a new owner for this enormous kitty. “He’s a chonk of a chonk. Can you guess how much he weighs? More importantly, can you give him a home?” The animal shelter asked viewers to retweet their appeal to reach out to would-be cat adopters.
World’s chonkiest cat isn’t just defined by his weight
Even though BeeJay weighs a massive 26 pounds, twice the size of a standard pet cat, he has lots to bring to his new home. His loveable personality, sad eyes and large frame are just some of the reasons for his attractiveness and appeal. Mr. B, Big Boi needs a second chance at a happy life. The shelter is looking for a new owner who can look after him and offer him the good life he deserves.
Overwhelming number of candidates
With Twitter going crazy and the shelter’s Facebook page flooded with applications to adopt BeeJay, lets hope that the World’s chonkiest cat soon finds his "purrfect" suitor to take him home.
