When Sue and Robert Markham took the decision to adopt a dog in a shelter, they agreed on one essential point: no big dog. So, when Sue went to visit a local shelter, many years ago, she fell in love with a little Jack Russell. At least that's what she explained to her husband, because the reality was different...
An adorable ball of fluff… size XXL
Under the spell of this cute little dog, the couple decides to name the pup Yogi Bear. A name that couldn’t be better because a few months after his arrival in the family, the puppy revealed to be a big surprise: it was not a Jack Russell at all. Even less a little dog.
Yogi Bear quickly weighed a whopping 199 pounds! He is actually a Great Dane. And Sue knew it. Deep down, she always wanted to adopt a big dog, but her husband was against it. She decided to hide the truth from him at first. She knew that her husband would quickly get attached to this cute doggie and wouldn’t want to give him back.
But beware, this story ended well, but it could have ended in a very bad way. Sue's husband could have decided to abandon Yogi Bear.
