There’s nothing quite like going for a nice walk around the local park to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. But for two people in France, an angry dog walker turned their relaxing stroll into a nightmare.

The story starts with a woman and her tenant in Saint-Laurent-du-Var who were out walking in a park. They spotted a man up ahead who was walking his Cane Corso dog off the lead despite the park rules that dogs must be on a lead.
Park rules: Dogs must be on a lead
The tenant approaches the dog owner and tells him that his dog should be on a lead in the park. The man could not have predicted what happened next.
Innocent remark results in violence
The dog owner reacted furiously to be told to put his dog on a lead. He fell onto the poor man, hitting him in the process. The man's landlady quickly called the police who thankfully arrived soon afterwards. But unfortunately, the man and his dog had already left the park.
The good news is that the innocent park walker is recovering well from the incident. But probably still very shaken. The police are keeping in touch with him and his landlady in case the dog’s owner reappears.
It just goes to show that you can't predict how someone will react. Would you have approached the dog owner in the park?
