The wide, beautiful beaches of Morocco are a special site to see, but what this tourist captured made it even more so. An unforgettable show, to be sure.

La Sanctuaire de la Faune de Tangier (SFT) is an animal rescue group located in Tangier, Morocco. The small organisation is managed by an amazing and determined woman who is passionate about animal welfare.

The strongest of women

Salima Kadaoui hopes to change Morocco’s views on animals, to empty the streets of strays, and to care for and protect the ones that she is unable to take into her sanctuary. This woman truly has a heart of gold, and wouldn’t leave any animal behind, not even the paralysed ones.

In fact, she keeps a hoard of paralysed dogs in her home and provides them each with a wheelchair so they can run around like normal dogs. “It’s like having babies, but it’s worth it,” she says.

A special trip

Even though Salima has so much work at the Sanctuary, she always takes the time to live in the moment and spend quality time with those she loves.

And that, of course, means beach day with her wheelchair pups!

Luckily for us viewers, a tourist was filming on the beach that day. He was able to capture the amazing moment 15 paralysed dogs ran full speed and completely carefree down the beach. Proof that paralysed animals still have the will and love of life.

If Salima hadn’t been there to save them, none of these dogs would’ve survived, and they certainly would never have had a special fun day out at the beach! But now look at them, living life to the fullest, as happy as can be! Nothing could warm our hearts more!
