Let’s not lie, Eva Mendes are Ryan Gosling are total couple goals. And now that they’ve adopted an adorable rescue puppy? We love them even more.

Meet Lucho

Last Wednesday, Eva announced their new arrival on Instagram - a Doberman puppy named Lucho. Just look at that little face!

“Meet Lucho. The newest member of our family, We adopted him from this amazing agency called Friends for Life Rescue Network @fflrescuenetwork. "

According to PEOPLE magazine. Lucho was born in November 2018 at the rescue shelter, Friends for Life. His Mum, who goes by the name Athena, was previously listed for free on an American mobile app similar to GumTree, with a description touting her as being ‘in poor condition’.

When the organisation collected her, she was just two weeks away from giving birth to her four puppies - one of which, was baby Lucho.

“He has always been the sweetest, most gentle puppy,” Jacqueline Santiago, shelter founder, said to PEOPLE magazine. “He has a wonderful temperament and makes a fantastic family dog because he’s mellow and affectionate.”

Adopt Don’t Shop

Eva, who’s owned dogs throughout her life, finished off her Instagram reveal with a heartfelt message, encouraging her followers to consider rescue puppies and dogs.

“If you’re looking for a fluffy family member, adoption is a great option. So many little dudes out there needing a home. If you’re not able to have a pet but love animals, you can donate to this nonprofit… Your donation helps keep animals off the streets and out of shelters where they euthanize ❤️”

We couldn’t agree more, Eva. If you’re looking for a new canine family member, don’t forget to check out your local RSPCA, Dog’s Trust, Blue Cross or local independent shelter. There are thousands of innocent pups out there who’re simply longing to be loved!
